Seasonal Worker / Ranch Hand needed at Colorado Ranch Resort

Work outside in a safe, beautiful location in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado near Winter Park.

Devil’s Thumb Ranch has over 25 positions available for seasonal employment offering 30-40 hours per week starting on May 25th, 2020 through approximately July 25th, 2020. The work schedule for this position is M-F, 8am-4:30pm. PT hours are a possibility as well. Note that employee housing is NOT available at this time as we are at capacity.

Job Responsibilities:

Outdoors:
Fire mitigation tasks include the collection of natural debris on selected areas of 6,500 acres of Devil’s Thumb Ranch, creating burn piles and improving trails. Equipment needed includes: face mask, hat, sunscreen, rain gear, water bottle, work gloves and sturdy work shoes or boots to perform duties.

This position could additionally include landscaping and gardening functions around the base of the property and cabin areas of the Ranch as needed.

Indoors:
Depending on business volume, some need may develop for room cleaning/housekeeping and dishwashing opportunities, along with server assistant jobs in our restaurants at the Ranch and in Winter Park.

The hourly rate is $15.00.
