Shellfish Farm Hand in Gulf of Mexico

Come ride the wave of sustainably produced shellfish farming, on our family owned and operated farm in the Gulf of Mexico. At Big Moon Sea Farm, we are seeking a hard-working, strong and positive individual who is ready to get their hands dirty. Our work is not for the faint of heart but we sure do have a lot of fun while doing it.

Duties include

• Prepping boats for water operations
• Putting in and trailering boats at ramp
• Harvesting Clams using power roller system
• Stacking Clam bags (~85-100lbs)
• Hosing and washing clams during harvest
• Processing product
• Cleaning operation materials
• Preparing Bags for planting
• Cleaning facility
• Other Misc. farm operations
